Nicole Jeanine Johnson is a writer, emerging investigative journalist, telling Black stories at the intersection of equity, education, politics, and liberation. Her contributions have been featured in City Bureau, and the Southside Weekly. She is also a published author of her debut inspirational memoir, Of All the Lives I’ve Lived: This Is My Favorite (New Degree Press, 2022). She is a graduate student at the Northwestern Medill School of Journalism. She also holds a Masters of Science in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
