Marshelle Sanders

Marshelle R. Sanders is a Chicago-based journalist and reporter for The Chicago Defender, covering community news, entertainment, lifestyle, and seasonal guides throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. She is the Founder and CEO and Publisher of The Beverage Library, a digital media brand highlighting books, beverages, and events through interviews, feature stories, and event coverage while promoting reading literacy and community engagement. Marshelle also serves as a board member of the Chicago Headline Club and is an experienced host, moderator, and correspondent. She holds degrees from Triton College and Governors State University and is committed to producing journalism that informs, inspires, and connects communities.
