The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena announced a new culinary lineup designed to elevate the fan experience. Crafted under the leadership of Chef G. Garvin, the organization’s Chief Culinary Officer, in partnership with Levy, the arena’s award-winning hospitality partner, the refreshed menu blends the best of Southern tradition with the vibrant, diverse flavors that define Atlanta’s culinary culture.

“This season, it’s all about listening to our fans,” said Chef Garvin. “Atlanta’s food scene has evolved so much, people here know and appreciate great food. Our goal was to honor that sophistication while keeping the food approachable, familiar, and fun. We wanted to take classic stadium fare and elevate it through flavor, technique, and presentation.”

From reimagined comfort foods to globally inspired bites, the new menu showcases creativity, authenticity, and heart. One of the standout additions, the Barbecue Smash Burger, offers a modern twist on a Southern staple, combining smoky, tangy barbecue sauce with the satisfying crunch of a perfectly smashed patty. “When I arrived, I knew we needed a smash burger,” Garvin shared. “It’s simple but versatile, we took the classic steak-and-shake style burger and gave it that Southern barbecue flair. Great meat, great sauce, and a lot of love. Fans can’t get enough of it.”

For those seeking lighter options, the Black Bean Burger provides a flavorful, plant-forward choice. “We used to serve an Impossible Burger,” Garvin explained. “But we found that people wanted something a little more straightforward. The black bean burger is simple, honest, and satisfying topped with vegan cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It’s for anyone looking for something clean but still delicious.”

Reflecting Atlanta’s global diversity, the Jerk Chicken Sandwich brings an international flair to the arena’s offerings. “Atlanta is an incredibly diverse city people come here from all over the world,” Garvin said. “We wanted the menu to reflect that. The jerk chicken sandwich adds an international element that connects to our community and our fans.”

For dessert, the Peach Hand Pie delivers a sweet nod to Georgia’s roots. Compact, flaky, and bursting with flavor, it’s a dessert that celebrates local tradition in every bite. “We wanted something quick and fun,” Garvin said. “It’s inspired by those little hand pies or hot pockets we grew up with just sweet dough, peaches, and a little sauce. It’s simple, but it’s Georgia through and through.”

Beyond these highlights, fans can look forward to other signature dishes including spicy chicken bites, glazed salmon, chicken Philly cheesesteaks, and finger-licking ribs all crafted to be flavorful, satisfying, and true to Chef Garvin’s philosophy of “creatively diversified” cuisine. “We have something for everyone,” Garvin emphasized. “This isn’t just a Southern menu or an American menu, it’s a menu with intention. We wanted to create dishes that fans will come to know as signature items, something that represents both Atlanta and State Farm Arena.”
