‘100 years of Black Life, History, Culture’ celebrated at History Center

African American Heritage Month Committee presented its  Black History Month Brownbag kick-off  Feb. 2, with guest speaker Sam Black, director of African American Programs at the Heinz History Center.
“Celebrating Our Centennial: A Century of Black Life, History, Culture” was the theme this year.
“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek, “ President Barack Obama.
