The Fulton County Tax Commissioner mailed out all 2026 property tax bills on Saturday, August 15. Tax bills can also be viewed here.

Bills will be sent to all property owners in Fulton County, reflecting levies from the County itself, the public school districts, and municipalities. All of those entities set their own tax rates and will be listed separately on tax bills.

City of Atlanta property taxes are due by September 30, 2026. Fulton County taxes, and those from all other jurisdictions, are due by October 15, 2026.

If taxes are not paid by the due date, interest will begin to accrue the next day and will continue until the bill is paid in full. An additional 5% penalty will be charged on the 120th day after the due date and will continue to accrue 5% every 120 days thereafter until paid in full, up to a maximum of 20%.

If you are a property owner and do not receive an expected tax bill by September 15, contact the Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s Office at 404-613-6100.
