Atlanta’s Backyard invites guests to embark on a passport-free journey through global flavors, culture, and community

The Home Depot Backyard (HDBY), as part of its Arts and Culture collection supported by The Home Depot Foundation, will host Night Market: Global Tastemakers Edition on Thursday, August 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Inspired by Atlanta’s legacy of hosting global moments—from the 1996 Summer Olympics to the recent 2026 FIFA World Cup—Night Market: Global Tastemakers Edition invites guests on an eclectic, passport-free journey through international flavors and culture. Celebrating Atlanta’s role as a global hub and world-class destination, the evening will feature globally inspired cuisine, culturally inspired vendors and immersive experiences that showcase the diversity and creativity of the city.

Beverage partners for the event will include Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Creature Comforts Brewing, Little Sober Bar, Dancing Goats Coffee, Atlanta Hard Cider, Edmond’s Honor Bourbon, Distillery of Modern Art, and others, offering a wide selection of craft cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options.

Food offerings will highlight a diverse lineup of featured chefs and restauranteurs, including Pepper’s Hot Dog, Hapa Kitchen, Chef Carla Fears, Desta’s Ethiopian Kitchen, Beikd Goods, Bun and Bites, Heritage Supper Club, Tamalion Tamales, and Jimmie’s Jerk BBQ.

This edition of Night Market will take place at a temporary new location while The Home Depot Backyard undergoes post-World Cup enhancements. Guests can experience the same Backyard energy at Soccer Ball Plaza, located in front of Gate 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Vendor Village, presented by American Express, will showcase a curated selection of local artisans and small businesses offering unique goods and products, providing attendees the opportunity to shop and support the local creative community.

Individual food and beverage packages for the August event are also now available at BigTickets.com. Tickets are required for entry, and all attendees must be 21+ to enter. A limited number of entry-only tickets are also available at no cost.

In collaboration with Southern Culinary & Creative, Night Market continues to be one of The Home Depot Backyard’s premier signature event series, highlighting hundreds of local restaurants, chefs, and artisans since its inception. The series welcomed thousands of attendees to experience unforgettable evenings filled with live entertainment, curated cuisine, craft beverages, and local shopping.
