The World Cup has brought thousands of visitors to Fulton County. More than 270,000 fans have attended World Cup matches in Atlanta, and 450,000 fans have attended the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park. MARTA has reported an estimated 1.7 million riders throughout the tournament. Thousands more visitors and residents have attended watch parties and events across our 15 cities.

It’s wonderful to see all the fun, excitement, and celebration these games have brought to everyone. Our ongoing goal is to make sure residents and guests always feel welcome, supported, and truly connected, even long after the semifinal match is over.
