Two Simultaneous Events on Menopause Healthto be Held at Morehouse School of Medicine
MSM President and CEO Dr. Va1erie Montgomery Rice to Give Keynote Address at Menopause Summit for Clinicians and Providers
Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) will be the site of two simultaneous events on menopause health Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the medical school’s Calvin Smyre Education Conference Center.
Morehouse President and CEO Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice will be the keynote speaker at The Inaugural HCP Menopause Summit for Healthcare Providers and Clinicians held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The daylong event will include range of sessions focusing on how structural bias and more severe menopause systems disproportionately impact women of color.
From noon to 5 p.m., a menopause lunch and learn will be held for the public. Dr. Makeba Williams, clinical director, Center for Health, Awareness and Research of Menopause at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine, Calvin Smyre Education Conference Centerwill discuss resources and treatments for the condition. Denise Pines, award-winning filmmaker, will preview her documentary, “The M Factor 2: Before The Pause.”
