Mary J. Blige Launches Charitable Collection in Honor of International Women’s Day

Mary J. Blige announced the release of the Real Love Collection in honor of Women’s History Month earlier today on Instagram. The three piece collection is inspired by Blige’s 1992 hit “Real Love” from her debut album.
The collection consists of a t-shirt, long sleeve tee and a hoodie which retails between $25 and $50. 15 percent of proceeds from the collection will be donated to the WJCS Mary J. Blige Center for Women and Girls.

The WJCS Mary J. Blige Center for Women and Girls offers four different programs to benefit women and girls in the areas of early childhood development, parenting, after-school support and academic and job readiness. Participants gain skills, knowledge and resources that empower them to pursue personal goals and become self-sufficient, confident women.

Academic and Career Support Program provides instruction for adult basic education and preparation for the new high school equivalency exam and job-readiness.

Building Better Beginnings is a mental health consultation program for pre-school children, parents and daycare center staff to promote children’s healthy emotional development.

Infant-Toddler Learning Center is designed to foster healthy relationships between parents and their children and promotes learning through play, songs and gross motor activities.

Wiener Academy for Young Women comprises three components: an after-school program for girls in grades 4 – 8, a girls’ leadership and empowerment workshop
series in local schools and a summer learning program.

The collection is available exclusively on https://shop.maryjblige.com/.
