Chicago Sky To Host Annual Fitness Festival

downloadROSEMONT, Ill.– If you’re looking for a place to whip your summer body into shape look no further! The Chicago Sky and the Sky Cares Foundation will host its annual Fitness Festival July 22.

The event will be held in the Skyline Room at Allstate Arena, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., and feature a warm up station led by the Illinois bone and Joint Institute. Youth, between the ages of 7 and 16, will be able to engage in sports drills with various professional teams, including soccer with the Chicago Red Stars, hockey with the Chicago Wolves and softball with the Chicago Bandits, according to a release.

The Chicago Park District ‘Teen Fit Box’ program will also introduce strength training for youth. Participants can also partake in other various activities, including fun games with Girls in the Game, dancing with Mixxed Fit, and stretching and movement with RAM Racing.

Participants will receive one ticket to Friday’s Sky game against the Connecticut Sun, a Sky #DRIBBLEON basketball and a healthy meal option.
