Here is an ad that sort of lets you visualize what that would be like! In a clip directed by Selma helmer Ava DuVernay, which debuted during the Emmys telecast tonight, Scandal’s Kerry Washington and Empire’s Taraji P. Henson pay a visit to Mary J. Blige’s house. These three women could just sit in silence for a minute, and it’d still be a perfect ad, but the fact that it also presents the amusing concept of a “boyfriend that makes you a mixtape inside your laptop” takes it to a truly transcendent level.
