Gospel Extravaganza
MAY 1—McDonalds and Three Rivers Adoption Council will host its 3rd Annual “Make A Joyful Noise” Gospel Extravaganza at 7 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave., East Liberty. The evening, which will be hosted by Lillian Cannon, will feature gospel-recording artist Marvin Sapp along with Deborah Moncrief, Travis Malloy and Chozen 1 Mime. MAY 2—The Thomas Merton Center and other Peace and Justice Groups will host its 2nd Annual Community Sing Along/ Concert at 7:30 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 605 Morewood Ave., Oakland.
