Atlanta again tops list of moving destinations; the top ten cities

I have lost count how many times I’ve heard commuters and residents complain or merely recognize that the metro Atlanta highways have gotten more and more congested the past several years.
Now we have official confirmation for our collective discernment.
For the fifth year in a row, metro Atlanta topped the list of the country’s top 10 moving destinations, according to a truck leasing company’s annual tally.
According to Reading, Pa.-based Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P.’s, the top destinations families and individuals are moving to are major metropolises in the South and out West. And based upon the harrowing, record-breaking snow blizzards in the Midwest and Northeast the past two or three years, this probably shouldn’t come as a surprise.
The company created its list based on requests for one-way moves in 2014.
