Robert Hill weds sweetheart

On Jan. 2, 2015, Robert Hill and his longtime lady, Jacquelyne Huggins, wed during a private ceremony at his Mount Washington condominium. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Dr. Johnnie Monroe, retired pastor of Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church in the Hill District. Rev. Monroe was one of two guests.
Hill retired in 2013 from the University of Pittsburgh where he served for 14 years as the vice chancellor of Public Affairs and Huggins, now Jacquelyne Hill, works in the University of Pittsburgh’s Computing Services and Systems Development department.
The Hills met in 2007 at a University of Pittsburgh Black faculty and staff summer picnic and began dating in 2009.
