Today, Monday, Sept. 7, in Atlanta, Democratic gubernatorial nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms will join Georgians and members of Georgia AFL-CIO at their Annual Labor Day Celebration to honor the contributions that Georgia’s workers have made to the state. Keisha will also discuss her plans to expand Medicaid, protect workers rights, and support Georgia’s working families.
Last week, the Georgia AFL-CIO endorsed Keisha Lance Bottoms for Governor. In their endorsement Georgia AFL-CIO President Yvonne T. Brooks, cited how Keisha has “shown up time and time again for working families across Georgia and understands the importance of the labor movement to grow our economy so it works for everyone, not just a select few.”
