Former Georgia State Legislator Kevin Cooke has Joined the Georgia SBA Team
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) proudly announces that Kevin Cooke, a proud native of Carrollton, GA is the newly appointed District Director for the state of Georgia effective today, June 1st.
Kevin is a graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in sport studies with an emphasis in business. Cooke’s career experience includes running his small family farm, the owner of a real estate and investment company, and the associate athletic director at Shorter University as well as worked as a licensed real estate appraiser for an appraisal firm. Mr. Cooke served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 18 from 2011 until 2021.
Kevin brings a deep appreciation for Georgia’s local communities, and the important role small businesses play in driving economic growth and opportunity throughout our state.
We are excited to welcome Mr. Cooke and look forward to the positive impact he will make across the Peach State.

His leadership, commitment to service, and understanding of Georgia’s unique business landscape position him well to support the state’s vibrant small business community.
