| Former Atlanta Falcons star Julio Jones and Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Nelly helped kick off a sold-out Opening Day at Assembly Studios Sunday, June 7, as Big League Wiffle Ball launched its 2026 season before a sellout crowd eager to see Atlanta’s newest hometown franchise. The successful debut gives Atlanta families four more chances to see celebrity owners, cheer on the hometown team and enjoy a day inside the air-conditioned venue this summer. |

| League organizers will also continue to incorporate fan-focused entertainment throughout the summer, hosting hot dog eating contests, talent competitions and other interactive activities involving players, fans and on-field personalities.The league follows a “medium-pitch” format designed to create more contact and faster gameplay, leading to fewer walks and strikeouts and more on-field action. |
