The Weeknd showed why the “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” continues to break records during a stop at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Canadian star entered the smoke-filled stage dressed in all black with a gold mask, surrounded by masked people in all red, he opened with the haunting “The Abyss.” As the rumble of “Wake Me Up” followed, the sold out audience sung every note.
“Starboy” lit the stadium with its familiar Daft Punk synths, but it was “Heartless” that truly jolted the crowd into motion. Tracks like “Can’t Feel My Face” and “How Do I Make You Love Me?” took the energy to another level.
Atlanta native Playboi Carti, who opened the show, returned to perform “Timeless” and “RATHER LIE,” bringing an unhinged energy. Another Atlanta rap legend Future entered the stage for the hit “Low Life.”
Throughout the night, the mood shifted from the sensual “Often” to the spiritual “Baptized in Fear,” to the redemptive “Out of Time.” Fans continued to sing along as he performed hits “Save Your Tears,” “Less Than Zero,” “Blinding Lights.”
He also performed deep cuts like “High for This,” “House of Balloons,” and “Moth to a Flame.”
Overall, The Weeknd’s Atlanta stop wasn’t just a concert, it was a theatrical experience that proves his ever-growing star status.
