ATLANTA, Ga. – An Atlanta-based rapper has been identified as the victim of a shooting that happened on Friday night in Gwinnett County.
Police confirmed the identity of the victim as 33-year-old Tevin Hood – better known as rapper T-Hood – of Snellville.
Hood was shot at a home in the 3900 block of Lee Road. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died, according to police.
According to multiple reports, Hood was a well-known artist in the Southern rap world. He released songs such as “READY 2 GO” and “Perculator.”
He last posted to Instagram about a week ago.
Gwinnett County police say the investigation “remains active and ongoing.”
