DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — On Saturday, Sept. 10, the Atlanta Hawks Foundation will unveil its fourth community basketball court of the summer, partnering with DeKalb County Parks and Recreation to provide an outside playing surface at Gresham Park. Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer and Hawks Alumnus Dominique Wilkins will offer remarks on behalf of the organization. Joining Wilkins is fellow Hawks Alum Dion Glover, who participated in sports programs at the park as a youth.

Officials from DeKalb County, including Interim CEO Lee May, District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson, District 6 Commissioner Kathie Gannon and Parks and Rec Director Marvin Billups will also bring greetings.

Immediately following the speaking program, Hawks Alum Charlie Criss and Glover will coach teams from DeKalb County Parks and Rec in a youth basketball showcase on the new court.

V-103 radio personality and Hawks PA Announcer Ryan Cameron will serve as emcee, with fellow V-103 personality DJ Big Tigger providing a musical soundtrack for the event. Team mascot Harry the Hawk, the Atlanta Hawks Cheerleaders and the interactive Flight Crew are scheduled to attend and engage attendees in activities for the entire family.

The free community celebration will feature refreshments for guests and is open to the public.
