According to reports, first lady Michelle Obama invited a lengthy list of pop culture icons, including long time friends Beyoncé and Jay Z, as well as rapper Kendrick Lamar, Stevie Wonder, R&B crooner John Legend, Rev. Al Sharpton, Fonzworth Bentley, Nick Jonas, George Lucas, Robin Roberts, Magic Johnson and wife Cookie Johnson, Samel L. Jackson and wife, Ellen Degeneres
Portia De Rossi, Usher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Hudson, Alonzo Mourning, Al Roker and, of course, the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton
Some celebs posted their excitement about being invited to the most exclusive of parties: “@thecookiej and I getting ready to go to President Obama’s birthday party!” said Magic Johnson
