CLEVELAND — Social media has mercilessly and rightfully pummeled the wife of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Melania Trump, for her staff’s indefensible and inexcusable stealing of passages from the enemy’s speech for her own glorification.
As you can clearly see in this side-by-side video, Melania Trump and her “advisers” or speechwriters lifted passages from Michelle Obama’s speech from eight years ago without giving the current first lady any due attribution.

They outright stole it. As a result of Melania Trump’s imprudence and her incompetent speech writing team’s faux pas, social media came up with a hilarious hashtag, #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes, in response. Her major mistake ruined an otherwise successful night of speeches from the opening night of the Republican National Convention in Ohio.
