Unofficially Leaked Early

images (1)The Police Accountability Task Force (PATF), the agency tasked with making recommendations to Mayor Rahm Emanuel regarding necessary reforms needed within the Chicago Police Department has bumped up its press conference by one day in response to an early leak of its draft report.
The initial release date was scheduled for Thursday, April 14th, at 1:30 p.m. However, someone, apparently an insider, had other plans and decided to leak an early draft which has been quoted in the media and posted online.
In response, Lori Lightfoot, the Chairwoman of the task force has decided to release the report today at 2 p.m. The Chicago Defender will bring you an update of this highly anticipated report once it is officially released. The report, according to early media accounts focuses on the rampant racism that runs throughout the department.
