Pittsburgh Fashion Week kicked off on Sept. 21 with The O.N.E. “Opening Night Extravaganza and VIP Reception. This designer showcase featured fashions by DebrAnn Weiss, KAMmaze Fashions Inc., RIPpurr Wear, Mayfield Avenue, Exotic Hush, Jenkins & Baldwin Originals and Faith ‘N’ Khaos. The first three nights of Pittsburgh Fashion Week took place at the Highmark Stadium.
The show was full of variety, from ready-to-wear to rip away lingerie to futuristic body suits. The week concluded with a Macy’s Front Row Fashion Show in Ross Park Mall and a Back to Basics Runway Show at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Miyoshi Anderson, founder and executive director of Pittsburgh Fashion Week, says Pittsburgh Fashion Week continues to be a frontrunner for the fashion, style and beauty industries, and there is something for everyone to enjoy at fashion week. She is already looking forward to next year.
The Pittsburgh Fashion Week Hall of Fame Luncheon typically closes out the week, however, it has been rescheduled for Oct. 25 at the Omni William Penn Hotel.

This year’s fashion icons were Ashley Boynes Shuck, Gino Chiodo, Emilio Cornacchione, James Houk, Ahmad Sandidge and Lisa Wagner Freeman.
The Exceptional Artist Award will go to Nicole Widdowson.
