'Real Housewives of Atlanta' members attend Million Man March

WASHINGTON — While some blacks decried the fact that BET allegedly did not provide live coverage of the 20th anniversary of the Min. Louis Farrakhan’s Million Man March, there were some who were just as surprised to see members of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in attendance. 11312193_1527113337579805_1022661345_n
RHOA stars Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield and Porsha Williams made the pilgrimage to the District of Columbia’s Washington Mall and got absorbed into the ocean of blackness where hundreds of thousands of other blacks and celebrities were on hand to digest empowering messages and words of edification, including Russell Simmons, J. Cole, Diddy, Young Jeezy, Common and others.
Parks was seen meeting with the leader of the Nation of Islam and even spoke during the momentous occasion’s weekend of activities.
Estimates put the crowd about a million people, approximately the same number that attended the previous incarnation of the mass migration of blacks to the center of power in America.
Take a look at some of the photos of the RHOA members at the Million Man March:
