Australian rapper Iggy Azalea said she was “blindsided” by T.I.’s pronouncements during  a radio interview recently, proclaiming that their mutual business relationship had been terminated.
During a sit down with Hot 97 a few days ago, Tip had this to say about the rapper he spent many months and occasions defending publicly and working with:
“I’m loyal partner and If I rock with you I rock with you. Right or wrong. We’ll discuss that later in the car. But right now, I’ma block the bullets, but when I say go…go. Just go. Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets. I just feel “they” [Iggy’s team] needed some time to adjust.”
Iggy conveyed that she was blindsided by the news that they are no long affiliated with one another — especially since Tip is still collecting publishing checks from her as the one who put her on and signed her to his Grand Hustle label a few years back. However, Iggy is now signed to Def Jam.
“She didn’t know there was a problem since T.I. is still collecting publishing checks and acting like everything is normal between them,” her camp conveyed, according to Global Grind.
Iggy has since taken to the airwaves to set the record straight and defend herself, and she had a lot to say. Take a look:
