With lifestyles changing around diets and  vegetarianism on the rise  vegetarian fairs and expos are happening all over the world including Canada, Belgium, Hong Kong, Australia, Israel, Thailand, the UK, France, Malta, India, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, and twenty states in the U.S. Traditional doctors are taking a mother look at their role in society and their patients. The two-day festival, which drew record-breaking crowds of over 30,000 people from around the world last year, will be held at Benedictine University, 5700 College Rd., Lisle, IL 60532. August 15 and 16 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Dr. Terry Mason, MD. Head of the Cook County Health Department

Dr. Terry Mason  will provide insight into Stokes as he delivers  “Stokes Have Nothing to Do with The Brain Saturday, 1:30 pm – 2:15, in the Main Tent.

Dr. Terry Mason, M.D., is the chief operating officer of the Cook County Department of Public Health. His duties include 125 local municipalities with 2.3 million residents. He is responsible for public health programs for Chicago and his duties range from disease prevention, screening, inspections and environmental licensing.
Dr. Mason received his BS Biology from Loyola University and his MD from the University of Illinois Chicago. He practiced as a board certified neurologist for twenty-five years and is a nationally recognized health educator and speaker who champions the holistic approach to health management.
He was featured in the 2010 acclaimed film “Forks and Knives” and received a Tele-Award for the video “Not by Myself.” He has shared his holistic health approach on his popular radio, “Doctor in the House.”
Zelma Chamberlain, MA Counseling

Zelma Chamberlain, will discuss, “Slow Down and De-stress: Meditate for a Happier, Healthier  Life,”  Saturday, 12:30 pm -1:15 pm, Tent A
Zelma Pierce Chamberlain, M.Ed., has been a member of Science of Spirituality since 1983. Zelma recently retired from an alternative school environment in Virginia. Her work with non-traditional students led her to facilitate the Dream Catcher program (a post-secondary mentoring program for students attending college or university). In 2010, she received the Model Career Development Award from the Virginia Career Development Association for her work. Zelma is an immediate past president of the Virginia Career Development Association.
Zelma believes that meditation gives her the calm and peace to deal with the stressors of the world. Her talks are engaging and resonate with her audience. Practical strategies will be shared with a sprinkle of laughter for all in attendance.
Ajili Hodari, Attorney

Hodari will address “Finding Happiness–Developing Spirituality in Your Life,” Sunday , 11:30 am – 12:15 pm, Tent A
Ajili has been a student of meditation for over 30 years.  Ajili was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up traveling the world as aUnited States military dependent.  He attended Michigan State University as a scholar athlete where he received his BA and MA degrees in Advertising.  After a career in the printing and publishing industry in the San Francisco bay area he returned to school and received his law degree from the University of Iowa, College of Law in 1990.  Thereafter he began practicing law in Columbus,Ohio.  He is now practicing law in Seattle,WA where he manages his own firm, Hodari Law Office, PLLC.
