Chicagoland Celebrates the 10th Anniversary!
With lifestyles changing around diets and vegetarianism on the rise vegetarian fairs and expos are happening all over the world including Canada, Belgium, Hong Kong, Australia, Israel, Thailand, the UK, France, Malta, India, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, and twenty states in the U.S. Traditional doctors are taking a mother look at their role in society and their patients. Many are moving away from the idea of treating and ailment but rather associating illness and the healing of that illness with diet. Veggie Fest Chicago is one of the largest vegetarian food and lifestyle festivals in North America next to Los Angeles. The two-day festival, which drew record-breaking crowds of over 30,000 people from around the world last year, will be held at Benedictine University, 5700 College Rd., Lisle, IL 60532. August 15 and 16 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Dr. Terry Mason will provide insight into Stokes as he delivers “Stokes Have Nothing to Do with The Brain Saturday, 1:30 pm – 2:15, in the Main Tent.
Zelma Pierce Chamberlain, M.Ed., has been a member of Science of Spirituality since 1983. Zelma recently retired from an alternative school environment in Virginia. Her work with non-traditional students led her to facilitate the Dream Catcher program (a post-secondary mentoring program for students attending college or university). In 2010, she received the Model Career Development Award from the Virginia Career Development Association for her work. Zelma is an immediate past president of the Virginia Career Development Association.
Zelma believes that meditation gives her the calm and peace to deal with the stressors of the world. Her talks are engaging and resonate with her audience. Practical strategies will be shared with a sprinkle of laughter for all in attendance.
