Friendship Luncheon
MAY 30—New Birth Baptist Church, 406 W. Grant St., Duquesne, will host its Friendship Luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. On the last Saturday of each month, guests can enjoy a delicious free lunch and enlightening discussion. There will also be a clothing giveaway to benefit the needy in the Tri-State area. Clothing is limited to two items per person and no lunch takeouts are available. Spiritual Sandal Session
MAY 30—New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1434 Juniata St., North Side, will host its Pre-Women’s Day Spiritual Sandal Session from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The theme is “Walking With God.” The afternoon will include a message from Rev. Musical Program
MAY 30—Faith Temple Lighthouse Church and El BethEl Temple, 800 South Avenue, Wilkinsburg, will host “The Blood Still Works” musical program at 4 p.m. This is a benefit concert to support Sister Lisa Walthour as she recovers from Leukemia. The evening will include several choirs and soloists, and special guest Bishop Aaron Martin. Judah Ministries
JUNE 6—Judah Ministries International Worship Center, 252 Market St., McKeesport, will host A Special Night With The King at 6 p.m. The evening will include the Judah Ministries Praise Team with special guest saxophonist George Furlow. Also, on June 7, after years of holding powerful Saturday evening services, the church will introduce its new Sunday Morning Service at 10 a.m. There will be a free spaghetti dinner after this inaugural service.
