Pastoral Appreciation
    MARCH 1—Second Baptist Church, 108 W. Twelfth Ave., Homestead, will host its 44th Pastoral Appreciation Celebration at 4 p.m. The theme is “Times change but Christ remains the same.” The weeklong event, which will run through March 4, will celebrate the work of Rev. Donald Turner. Guest speakers will include Rev. Richard Wingfield, Rev. William C. Callaway, Rev. Robert Young and Rev. June Jeffries. National Day of Prayer
    MARCH 2—The Partnership for Minority HIV Prevention and Zion Baptist Church, 1300 Locust St., McKeesport, will host a National Day of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS Observance in McKeesport at 5:30 p.m. Reverend Validia Gloster Giddens of Second Baptist Church in Penn Hills will be the guest preacher. A Celebration of  Community
    MARCH 7—East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty, will host “Many Voices, One Song—A Celebration of Community” at 4 p.m. This collaborative concert will feature four diverse choral ensembles of more than 150 singers. Fellowship Prayer Breakfast
    MARCH 14—The Women’s Ministry of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut St., McKeesport, will host its I Am My Sister’s Keeper Women’s Fellowship Pre-Women’s Conference Prayer Breakfast at 10 a.m. The theme is “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” This is an opportunity to receive God’s blessings while enjoying fellowship with sistahs in Christ.
