Absalom Jones Day
FEB. 7—The Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh will host the “A Closer Look at Absalom Jones Day Celebration” from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral, 328 Sixth Ave., Downtown. This year’s theme will be “Race and Reconciliation.” The word will be presented by Rev. Kim Latice Coleman, the rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in Virginia. The celebration will include the Frank E. Bolden Literary Contest Awards, a musical performance by the youth of the Neighborhood Youth Outreach Program, a luncheon, a focus group and more.
