ATLANTA — Prolific proprietor and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Peter Thomas has an undeniable flair for business ventures, and the Bar One owner unfurled yet another one on urban sophisticates, this time via a commodity emanating from his West Indies stomps in the form of “Peter’s Brew” Jamaican Coffee.
Thomas’ celebrity friends and RHOA fans poured into Sweet Auburn Seafood and Lounge like thick syrup, enveloping the entirety of the Sweet Auburn Seafood and Lounge in the historic Auburn Avenue business district in Atlanta for the soiree, including: Thomas’ wife and fellow RHOA star Cynthia Bailey, singer-songwriter and actress Demetria McKinney (who makes her debut on the top-rated BRAVO series RHOA on Sunday, Nov. 23), RHOA newcomer Claudia Jordan, celebrity photog Derek Blanks, “Atlanta Exes” Christina Johnson, RHOA creator and executive producer Princess Banton-Lofters, as well as Keinon Johnson, the national director of promotions for Interscope Records and Jenny Drake, the creative director of Universal Music Publishing Group.
Peter Thomas Entertainment Group (PTEG) facilitated the phalanx of pop culture determiners who imbibed on ‘Peter’s Brew’ Jamaican Gourmet Coffee while partaking in hors d’oeuvres delights in the chic dining and lounge area.
The always-colorful and occasionally caustic Thomas and his business partner, coffee entrepreneur Russell Wiggins, enabled attendees whet their palates with several unique flavors of the Jamaican java including: Iced Jamaican Rum, Hot Brewed Jamaican Rum and Jamaica Blue Mountain.
Later that evening provided Thomas with more opportunities to stunt like a title contender. He and his wife flossed an artist’s rendition of the new Bar One Atlanta, which will be snuggled comfortably in the Auburn business district in proximity to Sweet Auburn Seafood. It is scheduled to reopen in the spring of 2015.
