Three people were shot late Wednesday night in the when a van was sprayed with bullets along the historic Auburn Avenue corridor.
According to reports, the van later pulled up outside the Marriott Marquis hotel in downtown Atlanta with the wounded victims and three other people still inside, reports WSB-TV.
“I saw the white van pull up and a bunch of guys jumped out and started yelling and stuff,” hotel guest Jeff Johnson said.
Police say the shooting happened just outside historic Ebenezer Baptist Church on Auburn Avenue, where glass still littered the street hours later. According to investigators, the shooting victims are entertainers who had performed at a club on Edgewood Avenue and may have had a dispute with the shooter.
None of the wounds are life-threatening, the station stated.
