Women’s Conference
SEPT. 12—The Deborah Company of Greater Works Outreach, 301 College Park Dr., Monroeville, will host “God’s Bold Call to Women” Women’s Conference at 7 p.m. The two-day event will feature an encouraging, yet challenging, message to women throughout the region from Apostle Barbara Yoder, of Shekinah Christian Church. Women’s Day Weekend
SEPT. 13—First Baptist Church of McDonald, 141 N. McDonald St., McDonald, Pa., will host its Annual Women’s Day Weekend. The theme is “Order My Steps” and the featured guest will be Rev. B. DeNeice Welch of Bidwell United Presbyterian Church. The weekend will include a Women’s Day Workshop facilitated by Rev. Welch on Sept. 13 and a Morning Worship Service on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Welch. Dinner will be served following the service. Homecoming/Family Friends Day/Church Anniversary
SEPT. 14—Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 36 Meade Ave., Bellevue, Pa., will host its Homecoming, Family and Friends Day and 116th Church Anniversary Celebration at 11 a.m. The theme is “Blessed On Our Journey.” There will also be a 3:30 p.m. service with Rev. Women’s Conference
SEPT. 20—The Women’s Ministry of Unity Baptist Church, 420 Fifth St., Braddock, will host its 2014 Women’s Conference at 10 a.m. The theme is “No More Excuses, Just Do It.” The lecturer will be Rev.
