Mayor Mike Duggan on Tuesday endorsed Warren Evans in the race for Wayne County executive according to reports by MLive.com:
“He helped me implement the Nuisance Abatement Program I am now using to transform neighborhoods in Detroit today,” Duggan wrote in a letter to supporters from his campaign email address.
“… Warren Evans is the one with whom I can best partner to do the job you elected me to do in the City of Detroit.”
Last week, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy also endorsed Warren Evans.
Along with Evans, incumbent Robert Ficano, state Rep. Phil Cavanagh, County Commissioner Kevin McNamara and Westland Mayor William Wild. are also on the ballot for the Aug. 5th Democratic primary.
