Bad: Lionel Richie got a standing ovation from the very people who spent decades criticizing him for his “easy listening” and “soft rock” music — and for not being Michael Jackson. Speaking of which, they referred to photos of The King of Pop during Richie’s tribute which garnered screams from the crowd and took away the focus away temporarily from Richie. Bad move.
