LaTavia Roberson, star of the hit reality show, “R&B Divas Atlanta,” was one of the singers honored at the soiree.

LaTavia Roberson from the bestselling girl group of all time, Desiny’s Child, was joined by Meelah Williams of the group 702, legendary soul singer Angie Stone, Waka Flocka “momager” Debra Antney and many others were on hand or the ASCAP sanctioned “Inaugural  Homage: A Tribue to 90’s Girl Groups” that was hosted by the eternally effervescent Jamie Foster Brown, founder of Sister2Sister magazine. The event was also sponsored by Voscato. IMG_3574
You could feel the aura of the iconic 90’s girls groups flowing through the stylish club like a powerful undercurrent that electrified and powered the Havok Jones members — Kea Aleis, MaiDai, Aire B. and Neiko — who performed spine-chilling renditions of “Say My Name” and “Who Should I Run To” by Destiny’s Child and Xcape, effortlessly reaching octaves that could stopped birds in mid-flight.
