High School Football
Scheduled For Oct. 15
The “Domecoming 2011” football event, featuring six APS high school football teams, as well as the middle school championship game, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Georgia Dome.
The Middle School Championship Game will begin at 11 a.m., followed by Douglass vs. Lithonia at 2 p.m.; Washington vs. North Atlanta at 5 p.m., and Carver vs. Mays at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 for tickets purchased in advance and $15 for tickets purchased at the Dome the day of the games. Tickets may be purchased at all APS high schools and at Ticketmaster.

Rookie Class Arrives In
Atlanta, March 17-18
On the heels of signing one of the most extraordinary rookie classes in team history, the Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2012 World Tour to Philips Arena on Saturday, March 17 at 7 p.m. and the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. and are available at www.harlemglobetrotters.com, www.ticketmaster.com, the arena box offices, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
