Fulton County To Hold ‘Tele-Townhall,’ Live Twitter Chat

Fulton County residents will have the chance Tuesday to ask questions and make comments about the county’s services – without leaving home. Residents can express their concerns and ideas through Twitter, e-mail and live phone calls during the televised  town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The county’s “Citizen Sense” tele-townhall meeting will be broadcast on FGTV from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Residents can submit feedback and ask questions by calling 404-730-8757 or 404-730-8794, or emailing [email protected].

Comcast subscribers can watch the event live on Channel 23 (unincorporated Fulton County), Channel 21 (Atlanta) or Channel 26 (College Park and East Point).

Simultaneously, residents will have a chance to participate in a live Twitter chat , using the hashtag #citizensense.

Citizen Sense is a new Fulton County citizen engagement project launched in July designed to get feedback from residents about their service priorities. Six sessions were held throughout the county during July and early August.

Residents may also take an online survey about their service priorities at www.fultoncountyga.gov/citizensense.
