The quest to become “Sunday Best” entered a new chapter recently as the top 10 finalists were revealed on the hit BET show:

Brightnie Jones – New York, NY
Candace Benson – Pottstown, PA
Damarka Wheeler – Buffalo, NY
DeAngelo Gardner – Detroit, MI
Geoffrey Golden – Cleveland, OH
Jay Williamson – Shreveport, LA
Serena Young – Rochester, NY
Tiquila Wilson – Winston Salem, NC
The announcement of the finalists is the latest development to occur during the seventh season of “Sunday Best.” New to the Kirk Franklin-hosted series is singer Kierra Sheard, who joins Pastor Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams as “Sunday Best’s” newest judge.
In addition to the trio of celebrity judges, the finalists will also be under the guidance of vocal mentor Kim Burrell. The winner of singing completion will receive a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul / RCA Records a cash prize and the distinction of being crowned “Sunday Best” for season seven.
