Grammy-nominated singer and music sensation Kim Burrell and family announced that they have lost their family’s matriarch.
Mother Helen Graham Spears succumbed to an aggressive battle with cancer after a recent September diagnosis.
Spears celebrated her 70th birthday on Sunday Nov. 24 and transitioned one week later Dec. 1 at 3:35 a.m.
As she transitioned, her children and grandchildren were with her. She leaves to mourn four children, Karen Jordan, Kevin Jordan, Kim Burrell and Kathryn Burrell along with 10 grandchildren.
“This great woman of God was an Evangelist,” said a release announcing her passing. “She is known as being an amazing teacher, an author, preacher and encourager.”
This weekend is the Ephesians 4 Conference, the popular conference founded by Kim Burrell. Burrell announced that the weekend will continue while incorporating a celebration of life service
