MARTA will operate on a Sunday schedule on its bus and rail system on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28 and operate on a Saturday bus and rail schedule on Friday, Nov. 29.
On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, both Red and Gold Line service will operate every 20 minutes, with service every 10 minutes between Lindbergh Center and Airport Stations.
Southbound Red Line trains will turn back at Lindbergh Center Station at 7 p.m. Red Line passengers wishing to continue southbound to Airport must transfer at Lindbergh Center Station to a southbound Gold Line train after 7 p.m.
The Blue and Green Lines will also operate every 20 minutes. The Green Line will run from King Memorial Station to Bankhead Station.
From 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28th, MARTA will reroute bus Routes 1, 2, 12, 16, 21, 27, 32, 36, 37, 49, 51, 55, 74, 99, 110, 155 and 186 for the Atlanta Track Club Half Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K.
From 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28th, MARTA will reroute bus Routes 25 and 110 during the annual Macy’s Tree Lighting at Lenox Square Mall.
Both the Five Points Station and Airport Station RideStores will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28th. The RideStore at Five Points Station will be closed Friday, but the Airport RideStore will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Reduced Fare Offices located at the Five Points Rail Station and inside the MARTA Headquarters Building (across from the Lindbergh Center Station) will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.
