Six Flags Looking to Hire More Than 2,000 Workers; Applications Due Jan. 16

Six Flags Over Georgia, located in Austell, is looking for more than 2,000 seasonal workers for the 2013 season, according to WXIA, and applications will need to be turned in soon.

The theme park is looking for summer season workers in areas including food service, ride operations, games, security, loss prevention and market research.

“Six Flags Over Georgia has many exciting job opportunities available in Spring 2013,” a release from the theme park’s website said. “Whether it’s the mind-blowing rides like Goliath, The Great American Scream Machine, The Monster Mansion, or the exciting attractions like The MonStore and We Got the Beat, Six Flags Over Georgia is always searching for enthusiastic individuals to become part of the team.Six Flags is accepting applications at sixflagsjobs.com. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and should apply no later than Wednesday, Jan. 16.”

Those chosen for in-person interviews will be invited to attend a job fair at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Six Flags’ Crystal Pistol Theater.

Six Flags Over Georgia’s 2013 season will begin Saturday, Mar. 16. The park is the sixth-largest employer in Cobb County, according to its website.
