Nas is set to make big money off of his concert tour with Lauryn Hill and the State of Georgia is ready to shave off its share, TMZ reports.

The entertainment news site reports that the Georgia Department of Revenue (GDR) has filed new court documents to collect $1,083,435 from the Grammy Award-winning rapper for taxes it claims he owes for the years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010. The GDR reportedly has been granted permission to force Live Nation, the promotion company behind Nas’ tour, to garnish his wages until the department is satisfied.

Nas also reportedly owes the government, at least as of March of this year, some $6,000,000.

While a rep for Nas told TMZ that the issue has been settled, the GDR says that it is not the case and they are trying to collect. Let’s hope “God’s Son” will be blessed with a financial boost upon completion of his tour.
