Atlanta Public Schools will host its annual Back to School Bash, a family-friendly event designed to kick off the new school year with excitement, resources, and community support on Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Georgia World Congress Center. This year’s event will feature a range of activities for students and families, community exhibitors, and opportunities to connect with school leaders and local partners.
Atlanta Public Schools families must register to help us prepare for a fun and successful event. The Bash will provide students and families with access to school supplies, community resources, health and wellness services, student support information, and opportunities to connect with APS schools and departments before the start of the new school year.
To complete registration, families will need their student’s APS ID number. Onsite registration will be available from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on the day of the event.

Pre-registration is currently closed. Onsite registration will be available from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Families will need their student’s APS ID number in order to register.
