Gabrielle Andrews Promoted to Vice President of Marketing for ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau

Andrews to Continue Decade-Long Tenure with the CVB, Spearheading Strategic Marketing and Brand Awareness for Atlanta’s Southside

 

The ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), the destination marketing organization for the cities of College Park, Hapeville and Union City, Ga., today announced the promotion of Gabrielle “Gabby” Andrews to vice president of marketing. A decade-long member of the ATL Airport District Team, Andrews will continue to help refine the CVB’s marketing programming, which has evolved during her time with the organization and led to impressive reach, which contributed to the organization’s record-breaking economic impact, touting an estimated $177M in tourism expenditures in the FY2024-2025 annual report.

She has played a pivotal role in the progression of the District’s brand and consistently invigorated our tourism marketing initiatives with both creativity and innovation.”

 

Andrews has been a member of the CVB team for more than a decade, placing a special focus on strategic initiatives that drive awareness of the District as a premier destination for leisure and business travel. Through her contributions, the District has experienced significant growth across social media channels, increased traffic on its website and seen an uptick in earned media coverage. Andrews has also played a key role in shaping the CVB’s brand, including leading the development of campaigns like Harmony in Diversity, an integrated marketing pillar used in the promotion of the destination. Andrews has also helped raise awareness of community events in College Park, Hapeville and Union City by championing marketing and PR initiatives that drive visibility, attendance and engagement.

 

Prior to joining the CVB team, Andrews served in the trade show sales department at the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB), where she honed her skills in event planning and execution. In 2019, she earned her Tourism Marketing Professional (TMP) certification through the Southeast Tourism Society, further elevating her passion for, and commitment to, the tourism industry.
