Atlanta’s Backyard will conclude its popular signature event series with a showcase of some of the region’s best chefs, artisans, tastemakers, and beverage brands while also celebrating the essence of sneaker culture
The Home Depot Backyard (HDBY), as part of its Arts and Culture collection as supported by The Home Depot Foundation, will host Truist Night Market: Sip, Savor, & Sole Edition on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Sip, Savor, and Sole edition of Truist Night Market will feature more than 30 of Atlanta’s top chefs, restauranteurs, and artisans showcasing cuisines and goods from around the region while also celebrating the essence of sneaker culture. Live musical entertainment for the evening will be headlined by Atlanta Soul Band.
Beverage partners for the event includes Tito’s Handmade Vodka, who in partnership with The Home Depot Backyard, will partner with Second Helpings Atlanta, a nonprofit food rescue organization that works to reduce hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta, to donate the event’s surplus food for meals to feed those in need.
Additional beverage partners being highlighted will be Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, Altamura Distilleries, Atlanta Hard Cider, Edmond’s Honor, and others. Also featured will be non-alcoholic beverage partners that includes Little Sober Bar and 28 BLACK energy drink as well as brands from Dancing Goats Coffee.
Food offerings will feature some of the region’s best chefs and restauranteurs, including Chef Carla Fears, Belen Empanadas and Pastries, Pat’s Poutine, Ghost Pizza, Good As Burger (vegan), Desta Ethiopian Kitchen, Hapa Kitchen, Jimmie’s Jerk Chicken, Doug’s NC BBQ, DJ Waffles, Midtown Bowl, Blazin’ Blue Crab, Peppers Hot Dog and Not As Famous Cookies and the Big Green Egg experience featuring the Levy chef team from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Activations will include the Show Ur Ash mobile cigar lounge experience presented by 28 BLACK. Additional activations that attendees can enjoy will be a sneaker-themed paint-by-numbers immersive art experience and live sneaker customization curated by Sway Art presented by Truist as well as the Spa Signia relaxation lounge.
Vendor Village will showcase up to 20 local artisans and vendors that specialize in a variety of goods and products. Individual food and beverage packages for the July event are also now available at BigTickets.com. Tickets are required for entry and all attendees must be 21+ to enter.
In collaboration with Southern Culinary & Creative, Truist Night Market is one of The Home Depot Backyard’s most successful and tenured signature event series, highlighting more than 280 local restaurants and artisans from the region since 2019. Since its inception, thousands of attendees have enjoyed a series of evenings filled with live music, craft cocktails, delicious savory, and sweet food options as well as shopping with local artisans.
