Not to worry, you don’t have to go through TSA to to view the Atlanta Photography Group’s Airport Show 2016. The exhibit is located in the central atrium of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, just before the security checkpoint. As part of the Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival, a citywide photography festival with free exhibitions in more than 100 venues, 30 diverse photos from 14 artists will be on display in the airport. The approximately 260,000 visitors to Hartsfield-Jackson will be treated to images ranging from a bedazzled Elvis on the back of a hoodie to a man asleep in church to “All Around.”
 
11th annual Chili for the Children

Taste five categories of chili, check out an amateur chef competition, bid in the silent auction, and enter raffles at the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s annual Chili for the Children. New this year is the pro chef competition. Past events have benefitted the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Literacy For All Fund, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Literacy Volunteers of Atlanta, Literacy Action, and Literacy Alliance of Metro Atlanta.
