Is this a subliminal message from Gucci? The high-end, luxury retailer is using what appears to be bullets in it’s North Michigan Avenue window display. The stunning display appears as the backdrop for luxury metallic snake skin hand bags and patent leather pumps, several pedestrians were left scratching their heads.
“They look like giant bullets or missile tips,” said Alexandria Polovsky, in a thick European accent, a tourist visiting Chicago.
West Sider Mitch Frankin said “With all the police brutality and racial tensions going on in America right now. They’re showing bullets. Really.”
