Praise, Worship & Candlelight Service

Men’s Day

Worship Service
JUNE 24—Worship Service featuring Rev. Craig Giles, son of Zion Baptist Church, and Pastor of Triumph Baptist Church, Sewickley, Pa.; accompanied by his congregation and choir, 7 p.m.

Third annual Prayer Walk
JUNE 25—Macedonia Baptist Church in the Hill District will be hosting its 3rd annual Prayer Walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at various locations throughout the historic Hill District, including Sugar Top, Oak Hill and Skyview as well as the Bedford, Centre, Wylie and Webster Avenue corridors.  This event is designed for the ministry to provide hope to the community by showing the love and compassion of God. Approximately six miles will be walked during the event by hundreds of Macedonia members. To contribute donations of any kind please contact Pastor Kevin Jones via email at kjones@macedoniapgh.org. or call 412-281-8437 ext. 16 at any time.

Annual Deacon Day
JUNE 26—New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1434 Juniata St., is greets you in the joy of the Lord and send our special invitation for all to join the New Zion family as we celebrate our Annual Deacons Day at 3 p.m. Rev. Walter C. Butler, pastor of Commission Church of Pittsburgh will be the guest preacher for this special occasion. The theme is “For a Season of Change, Try Prayer”­—James 5:16. Rev. Dr. Samuel W. Summer Day Camp
JUNE 27—East End Cooperative Ministry’s 5-week Summer Day Camp is a safe welcoming place for kids to have a memorable summer vacation, enrich their education, develop their talents, and build friendships to last a lifetime. Rev. Darnell Leonard, director Children Youth Center.
