President Obama hosted his eighth and final White House Correspondents’ Dinner. During his speech, the 44th president teased each of the current presidential candidates.
On Ted Cruz: “(Cruz) stood on a basketball court and called the hoop a basketball ring. But sure, I’m the foreign one.”
On Hillary Clinton: “Hillary trying to appeal to young voters is a little bit like your relative that just signed up for Facebook: ‘Dear America, did you get my poke?'”
On Bernie Sanders: ” I am hurt though, Bernie, that you’ve been distancing yourself a little from me. That’s just not something you do to your comrade.”
On John Kasich: “Meanwhile, some candidates aren’t polling high enough to qualify for their own joke tonight.”
On Donald Trump:Â “You know I’ve got to talk about Trump. Is this dinner too tacky for The Donald? What could he possibly be doing instead? Is he at home eating a Trump steak?”
